The second edition of the YBNL UK concert hosted by Olamide and his label mates held in London on Sunday October 9, at the Hammersmith Apollo with a mammoth crowd of over 5000 attendees.
Asides from the complaints regarding timing, logistics and others from the party people, about 200 loyal fans were disappointed as they were unable to gain access into the venue and missed out on performances from Olamide, Lil Kesh, Temmie Ovwasa, Viktoh, Adekunle Gold as well as other acts.
According to The Net, security personnel had to shut the doors to the venue of the sold out concert due to overcrowding. This earned the anger of disgruntled fans who had paid for tickets to be a part of the show but were denied the opportunity.
The concert was also reportedly cut short because of issues stemming from this. Crowd control became increasingly difficult and many fans were disappointed as they did not get to see the main act- Olamide perform a number of his hit songs including Bobo which seemed like the performance everyone was looking forward to.
Guess the blessing of a sold out show can also a double edged sword.
